Residence Michelangiolo is only at a 15-20 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio and the historical center.
The residence is also at a short walking distance from Piazza Ferrucci where guests can catch bus lines 23a, 23b, 23c, the minibus D to the center.

How to reach us

From the Station
Bus lines 23a/b/c, which stop in front of the right exit at the end of the rail, all run to Piazza Ferrucci, which is about 200 meters from Residence                                          Michelangiolo.
Note: remember to purchase the ticket from the newspaper or tobacco stand before catching the bus.

With GPS set "Piazza Ferrucci" . 

Because many GPS show a wrong direction with "Viale Michelangiolo" please set your GPS on "Piazza Francesco Ferrucci". When you are in Piazza Ferrucci follow Viale Michelangiolo driving for about 200 meters until you see on your left number 21, which is the entrance of the Residence Michelangiolo.

Exit at  Firenze Certosa 

Follow the signs to the center of Florence, drive through the small village of Galluzzo and continue along Via Senese direction Piazzale Michelangiolo. Continue driving on the right and turn towards Viale Torricelli and Piazzale Galileo, then turn right into Viale Galileo Galilei. When you arrive at Piazzale Michelangiolo, continue driving down along Viale Michelangiolo. drive for about 1,500 meters and the
Number 21, which is the entrance of the residence, is before the traffic light on the right side of this boulevard.

From the West
Exit at Firenze if you are arriving from the A11 motorway and driving from Pisa or the coast.
When you arrive in Florence, follow the signs "Centro - Viali Circonvallazione", then follow the directions to Fortezza da Basso, Viale Spartaco Lavagnini, Viale Matteotti, Piazza Libertà, Viale Antonio Gramsci, Piazza Beccaria and Viale Giovine Italia. When you see the tower of Piazza Piave, turn left into Lungarno Pecori Giraldi.
Turn right towards the bridge, circle the roundabouts and drive towards Viale Michelangelo. Continue driving for about 200 meters until you see on your left number 21, which is the entrance of the residence.

From the Airport (Airport Amerigo Vespucci in Florence)
Follow the signs to the center of Florence and "Centro - Viali Circonvallazione".
